Treasures

Far too often I ask for time to stand still. I hug my children, amazed at how fast they grow. I wish I could remember every moment, every song sang, every story told. That is why photographs are so important to me. They serve as a beautiful reminder of what used to be, but also of how far we have come. As I look to the future, I want my children to remember their magical childhood, of the times we went apple picking, and played in the sand. Our first swimming lessons and hockey games. 

As we welcome Henry into our family, we invited the incredible Kerry Ford of Kerry Ford Photography to take some beautiful photos of our every day life. Today I want to share just a few of the treasures she captured. As I look through these photos, I am reminded that the most precious jewels that will ever hang around my neck are the arms of my children.
